Protein misfolding and aggregation are common features of neurodegenerative disorders. Artificial intelligence has emerged as a powerful tool that can predict protein structures with remarkable accuracy, helping us to gain a more comprehensive understanding of protein aggregation and potentially informing new strategies to improve the diagnosis and treatment of neurodegenerative disorders. Artificial intelligence has emerged as a powerful tool for predicting protein structure. This technology is now being applied to improve our understanding of protein aggregation in neurodegenerative and other neurological disorders, and could potentially improve disease management by enabling precision medicine.
