P54-1 Tribbles pseudokinase 3 contributes cancer stemness in head and neck cancer cells by supporting SOX2 and EGFR expression

Head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) is the seventh most common cancer in Taiwan. Surgical excision and primary chemoradiation are the main curative treatments of HNSCC. Still, recurrence usually occurs due to cancer stem cells, a particular population of cancer cells with drug-resistant and metastatic properties. Tribbles pseudokinase 3 (TRIB3) functions as a protein scaffold within cells and involves intracellular signaling transduction. In this study, we investigate the involvement of TRIB3 in the cancer stemness of HNSCC.
