We thank Simeon Taylor and colleagues for questions regarding an increase in flushing with HU6, particularly with ethanol ingestion, noted in our recent Article.1 Flushing with ethanol ingestion is associated with many medications including nitrites, nitrates, sildenafil, chlorpropamide, metronidazole, ketoconazole, griseofulvin, cephalosporins, antimalarials, tacrolimus, hydralazine, angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors, minoxidil, and angiotensin receptor blockers.2
