摘要
The article discusses how to leverage generative design to optimize the aircraft structures and variousaircraft performance estimation techniques available today. Both of these are inter connected, becauseoptimization of aircraft structures would automatically improve aircraft performance. The technique is demonstrated by taking into consideration several case studies directly from aerospace research studies. The paper offers a useful explanation of the workflow and capabilities of generative methodand algorithms to provide a number of potential solutions to a static structural design challenge. In the end we will discuss the possible improvement of GD with the integration of technologies like cloud, multidisciplinary optimization. Generative design is a combination of computer algorithms that tends to satisfy a given set of boundary condition, the converged solution is our optimized parts. Our design criteria will always be weight reduction and improvement of stress loads, this will automatically optimize the aircraft's performance.
