Comparative responsiveness of the PROMIS-29 and SF-36 instruments in individuals with chronic musculoskeletal pain

Chronic musculoskeletal pain (CMP) impacts Health-Related Quality of Life (HRQoL). Several questionnaires are widely used for evaluating the HRQoL, such as Patient Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System 29-item Health Profile (PROMIS-29) and 36-Item Short Form Health Survey (SF-36). This study aimed to assess and compare the responsiveness of PROMIS-29 and SF-36 in individuals with CMP.
