[Risk of temporomandibular joint and its management in orthodontic treatment].

Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) related signs and symptoms are frequently found in adolescent and adult orthodontic patients. TMJ health has long been considered important in orthodontic treatment for many decades, and routine screening and management of TMJ problems should be emphasized in orthodontic population.
