Influence of High Temperature Stress on Growth in Cucumber Seedlings

The effects of different high temperature stress on growth index in cucumber seedlings(Cucumis sativus L.)were studied.The results indicated that some expansive growth phenomena occurred in two type plant at 35℃/20℃(d/n)stress temperature,while the increases of stem diameter,fresh weight,dry weight of top and root are inhibited.At the same time,the inhibiting degrees are more obvious at 42℃/27℃(d/n)stress temperature.What's more,the inhibiting intensity is not the same in two cucumbers,and that in Jinchun No.4 is less than Zhongnong No.12 at the same conditions.
