Technology for LCOS Microdisplay

Liquid-Crystal-on-Silicon(LCOS)microdisplay is a sort of display that operates in a reflective mode.And its perimeter-driver and active-pixel-matrix is fabricated on a silicon chip,which acts as substrate of the liquid-crystal-gap,using CMOS technology.So it has both small size in volume and high resolution for display.In this paper,the fabrication and application for LCOS display are described in detail,and real status for LCOS technology are shown.
