Progress in Radiation Treatment of Keloid by Nuclide Application

Keloid is a common skin disease with many treatments including surgery,drug therapy,laser therapy,etc.,though the curative effect are poor.Nuclide application is efficient for treating keloid,especially when combined with other methods.As an important therapy for keloid,nuclide application is safe,convenient and inexpensive.In clinical,nuclide application mainly includes90Sr-90Y application,32P application with β ray emission and192Ir application with γ ray emission,all of which are the primary treatments for keloid.
