Air cargo terminals serve as crucial hubs for the efficient movement of goods across domestic and international borders. In India, these terminals come with many challenges, mainly attributed to extensive growth potential, diversity, and infrastructure development. This study discusses the challenges of Indian air cargo terminals and evaluates the factors, aspects, and criteria regarding air cargo problems under different conditions. Analytic Hierarchy Process with multiple criteria and five factors is used to better understand the complex decision process. We analyzed the air cargo utilization based on physical method, throughput capacity, and economic capacity. Results show that the developed methodology accurately forecasts the terminal's demand.
