In recent years, the isolation, purification, structural characterization of plant polysaccharides from natural resources have arrested widespread attention. Aralia elata (Miq.) Seem (A. elata) belongs to the Aralia genus of the Araliaceae family, which is one of the most popular edible mountain vegetables in East Asia.
