In this study, three supports, mesoporous silica (KIT-6), alumina (Al 2 O 3 ) and ceria (CeO 2 ) were synthesized. The wet impregnation technique was used in order to add an active phase of ruthenium (Ru-1%), nickel (Ni-15 % ), or a combination of the two metals (Ni-Ru) on each of the stabilized supports. The catalysts obtained were calcined at 550°C and then characterized by XRD and H 2 -TPR. The catalysts were evaluated for their activity in the CO 2 methanation reaction in the temperature range 150-350°C.
