Ionic Fe(iii)-porphyrin frameworks for the one-pot synthesis of cyclic carbonates from olefins and CO2

This study presents a novel use of carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) in the synthesis of cyclic carbonates from olefins under halogen-free conditions. This green strategy offers the twin advantages of environment friendliness and value-added chemical production.
