摘要
A drug nanocarrier based on silicon nanoparticles (SiNPs) is introduced for optical imaging-guided cancer therapy by S.-T. Lee, Y. He, and co-workers on page 1029. The silicon nanocarriers featuring strong and stable fluorescence are superbly suitable for long-term tumor cell tracking and cancer therapy, as well as promising for multi-mode cancer treatment in vitro and in vivo. The picture shows how the high-performance SiNPs nanocarriers (shining balls) are highly efficacious for tracking a single cancer cell long term.
