摘要
The redox reaction between ferric iron and thiourea in solution was found to be first order with respect to both Fe(III) and thiourea, and a kinetic equation has been proposed. The rate of the reaction was increased significantly by the presence of a sulphide ore and it is believed that this is responsible for the high loss of thiourea during the acidic thiourea leaching of gold-containing sulphide ores.
