Goji (Lycium barbarum L.) berry is considered the latest super fruit and widely accepted as a functional food due to its excellent nutritional and medicinal properties. Goji berries are usually consumed and marketed as dried fruit. However, they are not generally known as fresh fruit due to their highly perishable nature and lack of information about their postharvest behavior. The chapter reviews the recent research and developments on the improvement of fruit quality and postharvest storage using various technology.
