Metals in Hydroformylation

In the chapter suitable metals for the hydroformylation are introduced. A comparison in their catalytic behavior is given. Special aspects are activity and regioselectivity. Influence of organic ligands, additives and reactions conditions is analyzed. Particular emphasis is given to the synthesis of precatalysts from different precursors.
