Asymmetric bis(oxazoline)–Ni(ii) catalyzed α-hydroxylation of cyclic β-keto esters under visible light

Driven by light, a highly enantioselective α-hydroxylation of β-keto esters catalyzed by bis(oxazoline)–Ni(acac)₂ complexes under an O₂ atmosphere has been developed.
