Photo-induced weak base-catalyzed synthesis of α-haloboronates from vinylboronates and polyfluoroalkyl halides

An unprecedented strategy for the synthesis of sp²-α-haloboronates has been developed. Unique KOAc catalytic system, high synthetic application value of the product and no participation of metal constitute the notable features of this reaction.
