摘要
In the process of workpiece dimension measurement, edge detection has great influence on the precision of dimension measurement. The Zernike moment edge detection method can detect the edge information completely. However, the algorithm is greatly affected by noise and the running time is too long, which leads to the insufficient precision of the workpiece size finally. Therefore, this paper proposes a subpixel edge detection method combining the improved Harris corner detection and Zernike moment, and conducts experimental verification. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can better reduce the impact of noise on the image of the workpiece, locate the image edge of the workpiece quickly and accurately, and detect the image edge of the workpiece completely, improve the accuracy of workpiece dimension measurement.
