摘要
Iron loaded active porous carbon materials were prepared by fish waste (FWAC/Fe) with a simple method. The efficiency of FWAC/Fe on Cr(VI) removal was investigated. Langmuir model and Pseudo-second-order adequately described the adsorption process according to the adsorption data. The FWAC/Fe exhibited a high adsorption amount of 793.65 mg/g at 30 °C. The adsorption capacity retained 89.96% of the initial adsorption value after five cycles. The introduction of iron could protect carbon materials and improve cycle performance. These results showed that FWAC/Fe could be used as an efficient and low-cost adsorbent for Cr(VI) removal during wastewater treatment.
