摘要
Electrocatalytic CO 2 reduction reaction (CO 2 RR) has been proven to be a potential route toward carbon neutrality. Cu-based metal materials have been widely studied as CO 2 RR catalysts since they have suitable binding energy for *CO intermediates, favorable C–C coupling, and the ability to produce various multicarbon products. In this chapter, the recent progress on Cu-based metal materials with different metal compositions, including Cu-based bimetal materials and Cu-based trimetallic materials, and their application in CO 2 RR are summarized. We conclude the advantages and challenges of Cu-based metal materials in CO 2 RR and propose relevant solutions. It is expected to provide a reference for realizing the large-scale CO 2 RR application of Cu-based metal materials.
