摘要
In The Lancet Respiratory Medicine, Elisa Puzzolo and colleagues1 report the first comprehensive systematic review and meta-analyses summarising the health effects of using gas fuels for cooking and heating. These analyses were expertly performed using the best methodology, and fluently reported. Gas was compared with polluting fuels (eg, wood) and clean energy (eg, electricity) across five outcomes (four respiratory outcomes and one pregnancy outcome). Gas was healthier than polluting fuels and possibly less healthy than electricity.
