Lumbosacral hemivertebra (LSHV) is a complex and unique congenital spinal deformity characterized by early severe trunk imbalance and progressive compensatory curve. Previous studies have proved the efficiency of posterior LSHV resection. However, the optimal timing for surgical intervention of LSHV still remains controversial.
