[Structural features of two neutral polysaccharides Md-1, Md-2 from Ophiopogon japonocus].

To study the chemical feature of Md-1, Md-2 polysaccharides which extracted from Ophiopogon japonocus.Two constituents were isolated and purified by gel-filtration chromatography. Physicochemical constants and spectral analysis further were used to study their structural features.The mean molecular weights were estimated to be 27064 and 48651. Structures were composed of D-glucose.Md-1 and Md-2 polysaccharides are glucosans, which only are composed of D-glucose units joined by alpha-(1-->4) glucosidic linkages.
