Application of Improved Median Filtering in the Image Denoising

This paper explained the denoising principle of median filtering and soft threshold, analyzed their advantages and disadvantages, and used Matlab to realize their algorithms. According to the problems of image details missing, edge blurring when the two methods were denoising, the paper put forward an improving method for median filtering. The experimental result shows that the improving method has a better effect in denoising.
