The Glossary of Prosthodontic Terms Seventh Edition (GPT-7)

The seventh edition of the Glossary of Prosthodontic Terms continues the excellent work and dedication of many clinicians from numerous countries spanning our globe. Since first published in 1956, the Glossary has been the means of communication in the scientific language of prosthetic dentistry. The objective was then as now, and will continue to be, formulation and promotion of nomenclature appropiate to the profession of dentistry and particularly the specialty of prosthodontics. Many new words and phrases have been added to this edition as well as further historical information as seemed appropiate to the committee.
