Towards improved waterproofness of Mn4+-activated fluoride phosphors

We summarize the strategies for improving the waterproofness of Mn 4+ -doped fluoride phosphors, including organic coating, inorganic heterogeneous/homogeneous coating, surface deactivation, preparation of single crystal phosphor, and other methods.
