摘要
The reason of quenching crack for hot forging die steel 5CrMnMo was analyzed by composition analysis and metallographic examination.The results show that the higher heating temperature and longer heating time have resulted in coarse grain,besides,lower cooling temperature and no timely temper are also the reason of the crack.So the improved heat treatment technology is applicated to resolve the question.
