摘要
To investigate the role of total flavone in Penthorum chinese Pursh in protection of LPS-induced liver injury in mice.Fifty Kunming mice were randomly divided into five groups,including a control group,and a model group that were both administrated with equal volume of physiological saline,a high-dose treating group and a low-dose treating group( administrated with 10 mg / kg and 2 mg / kg doses of total flavone in Penthorum chinese Pursh),and a positive control group( administrated with 5 mg / kg bifendate). 14 days later,two hours after the last administration,the control group was injected with2 m L / kg physiological saline via tail vein while other groups were injected with 5 mg / kg LPS. 12 hours later,we measured ALT AST activities of serum,SOD MDA activities and levels of liver homogenate in mice. Neither high-dose nor low-dose treating group administrated with total flavone in Penthorum chinese Pursh had a positive effect in mice. Compared to the model group,it reduced the ALT activity by 26. 53%(P 0. 01),16. 74%(P 0. 05),the AST activity by 12. 50%(P 0. 05),9. 98%(P 0. 05),the MDA concentration by 48. 73%( P 0. 05),59. 80%( P 0. 01),the liver index 10. 36%( P 0. 05),3. 80%(P 0. 05),and increased the SOD activity by 26. 46%(P 0. 05),21. 77%(P 0. 05). Those groupsthat were administrated with total flavone in Penthorum chinese Pursh had been shown to alleviate liver injury and inflammatory cells infiltration through H. E staining. Total flavone in Penthorum chinese Pursh had a protective effect on LPS-induced liver injury in mice.
