To the Editor: We read with interest the article by McGeer et al. on the familial nature and continuing morbidity of ALS/PDC of Guam.1 The authors presented genetic, epidemiologic, and histochemical aspects of the century-old endemic diseases of Guam, but the data given were insufficient to explain the findings.
