摘要
The natural fibre reinforced polymers are superseding the plastic materials, because of their improvised properties like good tensile strength, less thermal expansion, good strength to weight ratio. There is an requirement of proper surface modification to amend compatibility of natural fibers with polymer matrix to develop eco-amicable materials. In the proceeding work, an endeavor has been made to study the effect on mechanical properties afore and after treating of natural fiber reinforced polylactic acid composites with chemicals. Mechanical properties like tensile, flexural and Impact will be investigated in this work with respect to the standards of American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM).
