Contractual medication deliverance forms used today do not control the deliverance of the medication and are quickly removed from its container, so the high condensation of medication deliverance in the plasma of motivated the researchers to design controlled methods to control deliverance of the medication. Among these medication control methods, the osmotic drug deliverance system is more effective than another method because it permits the medication to be available to the body's cells over long durations of time and in controlled doses. Osmosis is a physical procedure that has been considered in several fields of science, including physics and biology. Slow deliverance of the medication over a long time reduces the complications of the medications that cause problems for the patient, and the condensation of the medication in the desired areas is sufficient. Medications leak out using osmotic pumps in this device according to a specific template. Medication diffusion in contractual methods is affected by several factors in the body that reduce the effect of the medication. This chapter highlights deliverance theory, history, osmotic medication deliverance system, factors affecting medication deliverance systems, benefits and disadvantages of medication deliverance systems, usages, and its situation in the market.
