摘要
With the rapid development and widespread application of smart grids, electric vehicles and various electronic devices, the demand of lithium-ion battery (LIB) is constantly increasing. Therefore, in order to ensure the long-term, efficient and safe operation of LIB, an effective battery management system (BMS) is essential. Accurate and reliable estimation of the battery states is one of the key technologies for BMS. Due to the strong coupling and correlation between the internal parameters of battery, the multi-state joint estimation of the battery is an important future research direction in battery management technology. This paper presents a systematic and comprehensive overview of the commonly used definitions of battery states, including state of health (SOH), remaining useful life (RUL), state of power (SOP), state of function (SOF), state of charge (SOC), state of energy (SOE), state of temperature (SOT). At the same time, the multi-state joint estimation algorithms for LIB are reviewed in detail, including their advantages and weaknesses. Finally, some challenges and prospects of multi-state joint estimation of LIB are revealed, hoping to provide valuable information for promoting the development of battery management technology.
