摘要
We read with great interest the article by Siciliano et al. [1], which examines the clinical and cortical thickness features of patients with Parkinson's disease (PD) who exhibit cognitive reversion from mild cognitive impairment (PD-MCI) to cognitively normal status over a one-year follow-up period. This study aimed to characterize the features of cognitive reversion in PD and identified higher educational levels and retained performance in attention and memory tasks at baseline as predictive factors. The authors also found differences in morphometric MRI measures with greater cortical thickness in the left inferior temporal gyrus in reverters vs. non-reverters.
