The patient's guardian provided informed consent for the publication of this report. A 2.5-year-old girl weighing 13 kg presented in end-stage heart failure for ventricular assist device (VAD) implantation as a bridge to heart transplantation. She had congenitally corrected transposition of the great arteries,congenital complete heart block and underwent pulmonary artery (PA) banding and permanent pacemaker (PPM) implantation with a single epicardial ventricular lead on day 10 of life.
