In order to meet the evolving demands of a constantly changing society, this paper presents a teaching model that combines constructivist theory with the flipped classroom teaching format. Constructivist theory emphasizes that students actively engage in the construction of new knowledge based on their prior experiences, while the flipped classroom underscores the student's role as the primary driver of learning, with the teacher serving as a guide. By integrating these two approaches, constructivist theory can be put into practice more effectively, and the flipped classroom gains a clearer theoretical foundation. We have also proposed a theoretical framework for the integration of constructivist education with the flipped classroom. Building upon this theoretical framework, we have designed a teaching scheme that fully leverages the strengths of both approaches. This approach will help enhance students' ability for critical thinking, strengthen their knowledge acquisition skills, and provide students with a richer learning experience and higher-quality education.
