Manipulating Electron Redistribution in Platinum for Enhanced Alkaline Water Splitting Kinetics

A bifunctional catalyst (Pt-NiFe-P/NF) has been developed. The integration of Pt with NiFe-P heterostructures adjusts electronic redistribution, weakening the interaction of the active sites with intermediates and optimizing water splitting kinetics.
