A Bridging Bis-Phosphanido-Phosphinidene Complex of Lanthanum Supported by a Sterically Encumbering PN Ligand

Synthesis of a novel, bulky anilidophosphine ligand (short PN Terph ) is reported. The ligand was shown to stabilize the first example of bridging lanthanum phosphinidene complex.
