Notes on the Family Laumceae from India and its Adjoining Countries I

Twenty five new taxa belonging to genera Beilschmiedia Nees, Cinnamomum Schaeff., Cryptocarya R. Brown, Dehaasia Blume, Persea Mill, and Phoebe Nees have been described and illustrated here. Another 8 species have been recorded for the first time from Bangladesh, India, Myanmar and Nepal. A new synonym has been appended.
