BIM technology is an important way to realize building informatization and automation. To solve the problem that the BIM model is still in the stage of manual modeling based on the construction drawing information, which is time-consuming, labor-intensive, and inaccurate. This article explores a data-driven modeling method that can promote the application of BIM technology to the coordinated development of various disciplines. The data-driven modeling method starts from the parametric design, carries on the parametric data-driven analysis of the model components, and finally uses Revit as the carrier for the secondary development of the parametric components to realize the driven modeling. The research results show that the data-driven modeling method based on BIM is achievable. This study has promoted the industrialization and standardization of architecture and made innovative contributions to the development of artificial intelligence and robot in architecture.
