摘要
Candida rugosa lipase (CRL) can catalyze many chemical reactions and are widely used in industrial application. Nevertheless, its shortcomings include poor recyclability and a lack of stability. These limitations can be resolved using immobilization technique. The objective of this work was to evaluate the capability of magnesium oxide-aluminium oxide (MgO-Al2O3) as a support for CRL immobilization by physical adsorption. The effect of five immobilization parameters including agitation speed, temperature, CRL loading, immobilization time and weight of MgO-Al2O3 were investigated in this study. The optimal conditions were determined to be at 100 rpm, 30 °C, 1.5 g/L of CRL loading, 3-hour immobilization time and 2 g weight of MgO-Al2O3, resulted in 83.20 % of activity recovery correspond to 45.36 % of immobilization efficiency. Thus, CRL/MgO-Al2O3 was proven have a capability to be used as a biocatalyst for industrial applications.
