摘要
Materials containing at least one-nanometer dimension are nanostructured materials. Over the last three decades, nanomaterial has been used in various applications, including diagnosis and delivery. In addition, these nanocarriers; can be conjugated to enhance their effectiveness as drug delivery tools. Researchers have made significant advancements in drug delivery in the past few years due to their countless potential improvements in human health. Nanotechnology offers the possibility of systematically manipulating, analyzing, and organizing matter at the nanometer level. In addition to poor bioavailability, ineffective targeting, and potential cytotoxicity, current drug delivery systems have limitations. Various nanoscale delivery systems have been promising and versatile, including nanoparticles, nanocapsule, nanotubes, nanogels, and dendrimers. The peptides and proteins can also deliver multiple macromolecules, such as synthetic oligodeoxynucleotides and plasmid DNA. Through the nanoscale organization of biomaterials, it is possible to enhance the function of encapsulated drugs significantly. In this article, we talk about the role of nanostructured materials in drug delivery and other application, with particular emphasis on nanoparticles.
