摘要
BaTi 5 O[Formula: see text] nanocrystals were synthesized by a hydrothermal method, and their photocatalytic performance was investigated by degradation of methylene blue (MB) under UV-light irradiation. About 82% MB was photodegraded after 30 min irradiation, which indicated that the BaTi 5 O[Formula: see text] nanocrystals had good photocatalytic performance due to the distorted TiO 6 octahedra in the monoclinic BaTi 5 O[Formula: see text] crystal structure and nano-size BaTi 5 O[Formula: see text] particles. It indicated that the BaTi 5 O[Formula: see text] nanocrystals were promising candidates as UV-light photocatalysts.
