摘要
Emerging organic-inorganic halide perovskite materials have garnered widespread attention in the academic community due to their excellent and unique optical and electrical properties. These materials exhibit outstanding optoelectronic performance, including tunable emission wavelength, narrow emission linewidth, high color purity, high charge carrier mobility, and high photoluminescence quantum yields (PLQYs). As a result, they have shown great potential for applications in the field of light-emitting diodes (LEDs), attracting significant interest from researchers worldwide. This chapter summarizes the research progress on lead-free metal halide emitters and their applications in electrically driven LEDs. Many researchers have been working to replace lead with other more environmentally friendly elements, but this substitution often results in a significant decrease in the PLQY of the luminescent materials. As a result, the development of lead-free blue perovskite materials is still an active area of research.
