An HDBB-based fluorescent probe for the sensitive detection of human serum albumin

HDBB is an AIE molecule with ESIPT properties that could be employed as a fluorescent probe for sensitively detecting HSA with a good linear relationship and a low LOD. Furthermore, the sensing mechanism was elucidated by theoretical calculation.
