摘要
The study of self-healing materials is a rapidly developing field that facilitates the repair of microcracks or mechanical damage. In this paper, calcium alginate capsules containing tung oil were synthesized and incorporated into a polyester resin-based powder. Parameters such as the type of surfactant, dose, emulsification time, agitation speed, and ratio of the core to the shell in the encapsulation process were investigated. Three kinds of stable micro/nanocapsules with different particle sizes were prepared. Other coating properties, such as self-healing properties, friction and wear properties, and corrosion properties, were also investigated and compared for different capsule doses. Self-healing and friction-wear mechanisms and corrosion-resistance mechanisms were analyzed and found to be critical to the automatic repair and the durability of coating.
