摘要
Recently, the population structure of invasive Neisseria meningitidis (Nm) was assessed after the use of MenACWY among adolescents was recommended since 2005 in the United States.1 The results show that some CCs such as CC11, CC23 and CC32 clustered more closely to isolates collected from the same continent, exhibiting regional associations. In the United States and Europe, the N. meningitidis serogroup Y clonal complex 23 (CC23) was responsible for the increasing meningococcal disease since the 1990s.
