Choice of Therapy and Criteria for Assessing Treatment Outcome in Thyroid-associated Ophthalmopathy

The aims of treatment of Graves’ ophthalmopathy are discussed, and a framework for assessing treatment results is presented. Each of the currently available treatment modes and mechanisms is described in detail. Experimental immunotherapeutic approaches to the treatment of ophthalmopathy are discussed briefly.
