Thallium in the environment and its health effects

Thallium is a rare but widely dispersed element.In recent years,with the exploitation of mineral resource containing thallium,a large number of element thallium flowes into and concentrates in the environment. Thallium is highly toxic and can easily flow into the biosphere through food chain.Consequently,it has terrible deleterious to the living organisms and the human body health.Because of the influence of thallium on the environment has the obvious lag,its latent harm and threat is much more serious than the performance influence,therefore it will become chemistry-timing-bomb in the future environment.
